When tennis stars are asked which Grand Slam event is their favorite, they almost invariably respond with something like this - 'Definitely the Australian. It's just more laid-back, ya know?' Fashion gurus would probably say the same thing about the L'Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival, which allows designers, models, snappers, and their respective entourages to hang out in Melbourne for a week after the winter fashion-week onslaught in the U.S. and Western Europe. Not that the hottest designs won't be on display (check out the runway galleries for some trendy down-under styles), but everyone can chill out at the more relaxed Melbourne events, from the famous Pop Up Parades to the sunny outdoor catwalks.
