34th Telluride Film Festival
August 31-September 3, 2007
Telluride, Colorado, United States
Trumpeting itself as the 'classiest' film festival on the planet, Telluride certainly has bragging rights as the filmmaker's film festival, less adorned with hard-partying movie stars and A-list parties. This year, Sean Penn took center stage with author Jon Krakauer for the film adapatation of "Into the Wild", and festival organizers honored legendary actor Daniel Day-Lewis, who will star in only his third film of the decade this fall, Paul Thomas Anderson's "There Will Be Blood."
