2007 Juno Awards

The Juno Awards - Canada's equivalent of the Grammys - handed out its gorgeous glass-adorned trophies on Sunday night. The show opened with its host Nelly Furtado (also the night's biggest winner) descending from the ceiling in a feathered gown and performing her 2000 smash "I'm Like a Bird". The Canadian-born pop phenom, who has conquered the international charts with hits from her album "Loose", took home awards for Single, Album, Artist, and Pop Album of the Year, in addition to the Juno Fan Choice Award. American country super-group The Dixie Chicks won International Album of the Year for their acclaimed, Grammy-winning LP "Taking the Long Way".
