The sixth incarnation of MTV's Latin American VMAs were a phenomenal success, with hot performances from a who's-who of international music stars, including Hilary Duff, Juanes, Avril Lavigne, The Cure, and Jared Leto's rock act 30 Seconds to Mars. Hosted by "Y tu mama tambien" actor and Mexican superstar Diego Luna, the night saw Belinda win Best Solo Artist, Daddy Yankee nab Best Urban Artist, and Avril Lavigne walk away with Best Pop Artist - International.
