18th Annual GLAAD Media Awards

A tender moment between former "American Idol" reject and Oscar winner Jennifer Hudson and one of her Idols - R&B legend Patti LaBelle - stole the show at the 18th Annual GLAAD Media Awards in New York City. The cross-generational pair unexpectedly launched into an a capella performance of "Nobody Knows the Trouble I've Seen," which scored with the diverse audience. The GLAAD Media Awards recognizes television, film, and print work that helps combat negative images of sexual minorities in the media. As always, it was a star-studded affair, and this year honored figures ranging from designer Tom Ford to comedian Kate Clinton.
