It’s been a good year for Shakira, and now Teen People Magazine has made it even better. Shakira was the evening's premier honoree along with Gwen Stefani, The Killers, Green Day, 50 Cent, Mariah Carey and Kelly Clarkson as artists of the year. Although the stars honored were big, they definitely had competition coming at them from all sides. Joel Madden and Benji Madden performed an acoustic set for the show, and in the crowd sightings of celebrities such as the Hilton sisters and Ciara were rampant.
