It was an evening dedicated to those who braved the frontlines of rumor and reality in 2005. At the VH1 Big in '05 Awards, Jessica Simpson faced a near roasting by the show's hosts and recipients about her split with Nick Lachey but left smiling with the Big Stylin' award. Lindsay Lohan went to the mat with Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie and walked away unscathed as she clutched the Big "It" Girl award. Reality, too, got its due. Bo Bice experienced one more fortuitous bump to his career, outmaneuvering Tommy Lee and Danny Bonaduce to become the Big Reality Star. Besides watching Bice facetiously beg for mercy from Lee for having usurped the honor, fans were treated to dozens of their favorite reality television stars performing a mock tribute of the song "We Are the World" titled "We Are Reality Stars."
