Oliver Stone’s controversial new feature film, “World Trade Center” follows the true story of John McLoughlin and Will Jimeno, two Port Authority police officers who were the last two survivors pulled from the wreckage of the World Trade Center.

Both officers McLoughlin and Jimeno cooperated with the production of the film, and they are portrayed onscreen by Nicolas Cage and Michael Pena, respectively. Maria Bello and Maggie Gyllenhaal portray their wives, Donna McLoughlin and Allison Jimeno as the film follows the experiences of both the officers and their families in the desperate hours that preceded their rescue.
