From Steven Zaillain, the Academy Award-winning writer of "Schindler’s List," comes an adaptation of Robert Penn Warren’s 1946 Pulitzer Prize winning book, “All the King’s Men.”
Inspired by the careers of contemporary politicians, Warren’s novel addresses the range of human aspiration and experience, and the ways in which idealism can be betrayed by greed, guilt and corruption. Drawing on the classic film noir elements of the era, Zaillain’s film explores the scope of human experience and morality through the lens of American politics.
Featuring a cast of critically acclaimed actors including Academy Award winners Sean Penn and Anthony Hopkins, James Gandolfini, Jude Law, Kate Winslet and Patricia Clarkson, “All the King’s Men” is sure to be one of the most powerful films of the season.
