SHREVEPORT, LA - MARCH 19: Local country radio personalities Clariessa Kennedy (L) and K. C. Daniels have been tossing darts at a poster of the singing trio, the Dixie Chicks, taped to the studio door at radio station KRMD-FM March 19, 2003 in Shreveport, Louisiana. The two morning radio partners organized what they call the first "Pro-America, Anti-Dixie Chicks Bash" in response to comments made in London, England by Natalie Maines, the lead singer, where she said she was ashamed that U.S. President George W. Bush hails from Texas. Hundreds of CDs, tapes, and posters were destroyed under a bulldozer March 14. (Photo by Mario Villafuerte/Getty Images) |
